No Frills, All Fun: Ranger's New Classic Series Pontoons

Affordability and versatility highlight new pontoon line

FLIPPIN, Ark. (July 31, 2019) -  Showing diversity and a commitment to gaining market share in the pontoon segment, Ranger debuted a quartet of affordable and capable pontoons that check most every box for families with diverse interests looking to get on the water. The Classic Series is comprised of Fish and Cruise models available in 20' and 18' packages, specifically the 200F, 200C, 180F and 180C.

The Cruise models are ideally crafted for lounging, watersports and cruising thanks to twin forward lounges and an aft lounge with wrapped bases that conceal storage beneath. The helm features a swiveling barrel seat and console shroud with a molded-in footrest. Also at the helm are gauges, rocker switches, cupholders, a charging port and a Kicker Bluetooth stereo control.

Twin natural aluminum logs with RapidRise™ strakes divert spray and provide instant lift upon acceleration, while the Ranger PowerPod™ adds performance and tightens handling by setting the outboard further back. Sound- and vibration-deadening fence insulation keep things quiet while underway and a 9' EZ- Deploy Bimini top adds shade with fingertip effort.

Fish models are tailored for fishing or cruising, with an available Fish Package that includes a Minn Kota Power Drive trolling motor up front and Lowrance fishfinder at the helm. On the front side of the helm is a plush bench seat. The bow features twin folding, swiveling fishing seats accompanied by rod and drink holders within the "football" stations, one of which stores the optional trolling motor battery and the other a livewell. Vertical rod and tool holders keep rods secure on the fencing when not in use

Amidships on the Fish models is an L-lounge, followed by a rear fishing station with livewell and cranking battery storage with rod and cupholder built in, and a fold-down fishing seat. A stainless-steel boarding ladder hangs off of the swim platform. Both Fish models feature the same logs, fencing and Bimini as the Cruise models.

Regardless of what undertaking you have plans for, Ranger's new and affordable Classic Series pontoons feature the amenities and capability to perform in style.
