619VS OWNER REVIEWS On-The-Water Insights & More |
I went out and bought a 619 Ranger for guiding. When I am out guiding on the big waters of Lake Michigan or Lake Winnebago I need a boat that can handle the waves with the wind picked up. So I bought this boat and I can tell you I am so happy with the way this boat handles the waves. I know when I am out fishing my clients or me have nothing to worry about when fishing out of my Ranger.
Great boat thanks guys!

I just got my brand new Ranger 619. For years I have had boat ramp envy every time I would see a Ranger. I had a good boat before this but now I have a great boat. It performs like a dream and I have the confidence and pride that makes every trip to the lake even better than it ever has. Now I feel like I am in the big leagues.

The Ranger 619VS coupled with a 225 is a multi-species rocket. While this boat is plenty capable in the big open waters of the Great Lakes, it shines in river situations. It is by far the most nimble, as well as, stable fishing platform that I have owned. The 619VS tracks like it is on rails when trolling with the kicker and maneuvers effortlessly when on the bow mount.

I have been running Ranger Boats since 1994. Over those many years Ranger has continued to improve upon perfection. The Fisherman series of boats offers the serious angler a platform to fish from that is second to none. Features like: dry storage compartments, rod storage for both trolling and spinning rods, premium wiring for all electronic components on the boat, and of course the hull design that gets the angler to the fish and back in comfort make the Ranger Fisherman an easy choice for me.

The huge casting decks of my Ranger 619VS are the perfect "dance floor" for going toe-to-toe with a trophy musky. This model readily slides off its trailer, so it's a snap for one angler to launch in smaller lakes, yet it has the big-boat stability to safely tackle the roughest of waters. Massive storage compartments keep all of my gear dry and ready for use. The Ranger 619VS is an unstoppable musky-fishing rig.

I would have to say my primary reason would be the overall length. It fits in a 24 foot standard size household garage perfect. Second would be you can tow it with your average size family SUV.

I choose the 619 because I do lots of tournament fishing on Lake Ontario and other big body of water, I love the ride specially when it get rough out there. Another good option to get is the deck extension. When IÕm out on tournament I put it in place and I get as much deck space as a bass boat and when I take the grandchildren out I can take it off in a minute and I have the safety of the high side for the them and can sit 4 very comfortable. I love the storage space - IÕm the type of angler that like to have more tackle then what I need. The cooler is really well insulatedÉ I can put a bag of ice in the morning my lunch and water for the day and when IÕm done at the end of the day I still have ice and cold drink. I didnÕt forget the rod locker - nice. I can go on and on there is lots more....
