I just enjoyed an amazing Wounded Warrior Weekend in Huntsville, Alabama. The highlight of the weekend was fishing in a tourney with a great fisherman, J. Byrd, off of his VERY NICE RANGER BOAT! I was very impressed! I had a blast and J. Byrd was so patient. I think I’m officially "hooked" on this sport! I can't wait to get one of my own in the future. Respectfully, SGT S. Malone --Sophia M THANK YOU Hello Ranger! I’ve been in the AIR FORCE for 6 years. You probably don’t remember me, but when I was 15 I had my Dad help me purchase a used 1998 R72. I used it for about a year and even won my first Tournament in it. But one day when I got ready to go to another tourney, I went outside and my pride and joy was stolen. They found it in a rock quarry in Indiana. I sent an E-mail and a letter to Ranger to tell you what happened. Finally in 2008 I purchased a new 178 with a 150 Yamaha engine. Going from a jon boat to Lowe boat just could never settle. Nothing fed the need. It was like going from a Festiva to almost a Zo6. Thank you for building such an impressive boat. I just got back in Dec 08 from my tour overseas serving in Iraq/Kuwait, with the Michigan Army National Guard. My dream is to own a Ranger Comanche and be a BASS Tour Pro. I am currently on active duty and have been fortunate enough to fish out of a Ranger the whole summer and I am in awe at the craftsmanship that goes into each boat both new and old. It means a lot to me and him that you having something on your website. I plan on going pro for fishing one day. I am trying to get sponsors now and I think I might have some. I am still waiting to hear back from them, but I was having trouble picking a boat for a tournament rig and I just found it. I can promise you that when I get older I will buy a Ranger for a tournament rig. But I have to tell you, “It’s truly an honor and privilege to serve this great country, especially when there are companies and citizens that give so much support.” The support and courage that you all have given me and so many others, is the real reason we continue the fight on the front lines. But I have to say, “My hat’s off to Forrest and Nina Wood.” Because if it were not for you and what you have done for the great town of Flippin and all its fine citizens, I and others that came from there, might not be doing what we continue to do today. I don’t own a Ranger boat, but have fished in one many a time and they truly are the best bass boats on the water, bar none. So to all the hard workers at Ranger, who continue to build the best bass boats in the world and all my fellow friends and citizens of Flippin, keep up the hard work and continue to show your support not only for me, but for everyone who is serving this great nation. Regardless of what people may say, your support really does matter to us. And to all my military brethren, “Keep up the hard fight and let’s come home safely because there are people back home who really care about us.” So when I take leave and come back to do some fishing, you bet it’ll be done in a Ranger. I always tried to beat my dad fishing and that day I did. I was so excited. I bragged to everyone about that and my dad told me "son, you keep bragging and the fish gods will look down on you." I laughed and said yeah right. Well, he was right. The next time we went fishing he kicked my tale. On our way home he said "I told you so." I laughed and said "Pops, you were right"... --LEE I My First Ranger Boat I am currently deployed and just put a deposit on my first Ranger Bass Boat. I can't wait to get home, pick it up, and take my wife and son fishing.
