Fishing for Freedom
My name is Michael Fox and I was proud to be apart of the 2009 Fishing for Freedom at Belton Lake on October 10th. My teammate Tommy Mackey was one hell of a guy. He taught me a lot and his generosity was unmatched. He showed me a lot of fishing holes that I never new existed and man when we got on our pad early in the morning, hell I became a Ranger customer for life! When I get back from my next deployment soon, I'm buying a Ranger bass boat for sure! Thanks for supporting us troops and good luck in the future!

Wouldn’t Have Any Other Boat
I just completed 4 years in the military and 2 tours in Iraq. The only thing that sometimes kept me going was just thinking of getting out and back home on Bull Shoals, in my dad’s Ranger 373V. Love Ranger and love my country.

Love Your Support
Thank you for your support of the Military. I am currently serving my third tour in the US Army and love to see great American companies who support us. You’re Great Americans!

Fishing Memories
I am currently in Afghanistan (no fishing here). Some of my favorite memories are after a fishing trip elbowed up to the side of the boat telling lies and enjoying a refreshment with my buddies. If you think you don't live in the best place in the world, leave for a few months and you will know.

My Ranger
Hi my name is Stephen. I have a 1995 R72 Sport Ranger and I am a (FMF) Fleet Marine Force Corpsman and I have been in the Navy for two years. I love my job getting to take care of the Marines. Anyway, my boat was originally my grandfathers and recently he passed away so I bought it from my grandmother. My grandather was also in the military. He was in the Air Force and flew the KC-135 before retiring after 22 years as a LTC. I love this boat and always have. Where I live now is not that great as far as lakes, but I still take it to this river to try to catch some bass. It is a big difference for me because I came from east Texas and I was used to fishing on Lake Fork and catching plenty of fish. I love my boat I will never get rid of it just cause of the value it has to me. Also, when my son gets older, it will be his and I hope he gets just as much enjoyment out of it as I do. I love what ya’ll do with your boats. Keep up the good work and maybe years down the road I will purchase a brand new one, but I don’t think I could do that to my R72; it’s still new to me. Also, it was the first boat I ever drove and it was my grandfather that taught me how to drive it. Years later, finally getting back in it in the water, it was like I never forgot how to work it just from watching my grandfather every time we would go out in it. Again thanks. If it was not for ya’ll, I would not have this great experience. I am sorry for writing so much, but that’s how much I love my Ranger.

Wounded Warrior on a Ranger Boat
My name is SGT Malone of the 128th Military Police Company. I was deployed to Iraq in 06-07. I just enjoyed an amazing Wounded Warrior Weekend in Huntsville, Alabama. The highlight of the weekend was fishing in a tourney with a great fisherman, J. Byrd, off of his VERY NICE RANGER BOAT! I was very impressed! I had a blast and J. Byrd was so patient. I think I’m officially "hooked" on this sport! I can't wait to get one of my own in the future. Respectfully, SGT S. Malone

THANK YOU
Hello Ranger! I’ve been in the AIR FORCE for 6 years. You probably don’t remember me, but when I was 15 I had my Dad help me purchase a used 1998 R72. I used it for about a year and even won my first Tournament in it. But one day when I got ready to go to another tourney, I went outside and my pride and joy was stolen. They found it in a rock quarry in Indiana. I sent an E-mail and a letter to Ranger to tell you what happened. Finally in 2008 I purchased a new 178 with a 150 Yamaha engine. Going from a jon boat to Lowe boat just could never settle. Nothing fed the need. It was like going from a Festiva to almost a Zo6. Thank you for building such an impressive boat. I still miss my R72 w/115 Johnson.

Thank You
Ranger Boats,
Thank you for thinking of us. I just got back in Dec 08 from my tour overseas serving in Iraq/Kuwait, with the Michigan Army National Guard.
My dream is to own a Ranger Comanche and be a BASS Tour Pro. I have always felt you are the industry standard and I would ride a Ranger and only a Ranger in tournaments. That certainly has not changed after reading your website. I appreciate your kind words.
Thank you again.

Iraq
Hello Ranger,
I served in Iraq with the 1ST ID from 2003-2005. When I returned home I purchased my first Ranger walleye boat. Your boats are great but the support of the soldiers is even better. Thanks for both.

Thanks
I just want to say thanks for making such a great dependable bass boat. I am currently on active duty and have been fortunate enough to fish out of a Ranger the whole summer and I am in awe at the craftsmanship that goes into each boat both new and old.

Thank You Ranger
Thank you so much Ranger for having something on here for our troops. My father spent 16 months over in Iraq; his unit is the longest serving MP unit over there. It means a lot to me and him that you having something on your website. I plan on going pro for fishing one day. I am trying to get sponsors now and I think I might have some. I am still waiting to hear back from them, but I was having trouble picking a boat for a tournament rig and I just found it. I can promise you that when I get older I will buy a Ranger for a tournament rig.
Thank you!
